Shower Base
Grenrite Shower Base is a pre-formed, waterproof shower floor designed to simplify the installation of tiled shower areas. It combines a rigid XPS core with reinforced cementitious facings to provide a stable, lightweight and tile-ready substrate.
The factory-formed slope is designed to direct water toward the drain, helping installers create a consistent shower floor without the need to build a traditional mortar bed on site. The lightweight construction also makes the base easier to handle, position and install.
Grenrite Shower Base is suitable for residential and commercial bathrooms, walk-in showers and other wet-area applications where a reliable waterproof substrate and efficient installation are required.
Designed for Faster Shower Floor Installation
Traditional shower floor construction can require multiple preparation steps, including forming a suitable slope, building a mortar bed and preparing the surface for waterproofing and tile installation. Grenrite Shower Base integrates the sloped shower floor and waterproof substrate into a pre-formed component, helping simplify this process.
The XPS-based construction provides a lightweight and rigid substrate for compatible tile and stone installation systems. The pre-formed geometry helps maintain a consistent slope while reducing on-site fabrication.
The base can be integrated with Grenrite shower system components and compatible waterproofing and drainage solutions to create a coordinated tiled shower assembly.
